Yes, there is generally a minimum of 4 or 6 participants required depending on the destination. If we have less participants than this minimum, we keep the right to cancel the trip and to refund you according to our cancellation and refund policy. For the maximum number of participants, it varies depending on the trip. The biggest group we can welcome is 14 people to keep the advantages of travelling in a small group.
All the trips are guaranteed as long as the minimum number of participants is respected. However, we could cancel the trip in the extremely rare case that an instability at our destination would prevent us from assuring your safety.
Everyone 18 and over is welcome! If you are less than 18 years old, but a member of your family accompanies you in the trip and is over 18, please contact us.
It is mandatory to have a valid travel insurance for the duration of your trip to travel with us. You will have to show us proof of this insurance before the beginning of your trip (by email or in person) to be allowed to travel with us. Your insurance needs to include a medical insurance. The rest is optional according to your personal needs.
Absolutely! By following general safety measures, there is no reason to feel unsafe in those destinations. Also, our team and local partners will assure your safety and well-being for the whole trip. If you have any concern or questions, please let us know!
Volunteering involves to be present and engaged in the host community. It involves to give your time, a smile, some help, share your knowledge and skills, etc. In return, this way of travelling gives you so much: human contacts, unique experiences and memorable encounters are only a fraction of what a volunteer gets in return!

We sometimes include the plane tickets in your organized trip. We want to leave you some flexibility and freedom in your travel plans, whether you want to extend your trip or if you come from another destination. Even though we don’t always include the plane tickets in our tour packages, we can always help you with the booking if you wish!
In all cases, whether we have booked your tickets or not, we will be waiting for you at the airport at your destination as soon as you arrive, if this corresponds to the start date of the organized trip.
Ideally, it is best if you arrive at the start date of the tour. You could arrive up to 2 days earlier and we can arrange an airport pick-up for an additional cost.
The entry requirements varies from one country to another. We recommend you to consult the website of the Government of Canada for updated informations about the entry requirements at www.travel.gc.ca. In general, your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months after the date of departure from destination. If you are from another nationality, please refer to your respective national authorities for information about entry requirements.

You could need vaccinations before travelling to some destinations. For the best advices on required vaccinations and medication, we suggest that you consult a health care professional in a travel clinic. We suggest that you do this early after booking your trip, because you might need more than one dose for some vaccinations.
Our trips cover destinations with diverse climates. Please refer to your travel documents that we will send you after your reservation is made. In general, it is recommended to bring a complete first aid kit and to travel light to stay comfortable.
Absolutely! Our trips are open to all, whether you are travelling alone, as a couple, with friends or with your family. If you are travelling alone, be assured that you will leave with a new family, as our trips are meant to be unifying!
We value each traveller and we want to consider everyone’s interests in the organization of the trip, so that each of you feels listened to and has an amazing experience. By organizing small group tours, we can adapt and try to meet the needs of everyone. Also, travelling in a small groups avoids losing time by waiting for everyone between activities. Absolutely, it would be our pleasure to meet you and assist you in your trip preparation. We are available for phone and video appointments. Depending on your location, we could organize a meeting in person in a public space, such as a coffee shop for example. Please contact us for more details.
We recommend that you bring some American dollars to each of our destination, because it is easy to exchange at any exchange bureau around the world. Also, it is possible to withdraw money at local ATM’s with credit and debit cards. You should contact your card provider ahead to avoid it being blocked when doing transactions abroad. To know the suggested amount for each of our destination, please refer to the specific tour’s page. Our trips generally cover activities, transportation, accommodations and some meals, so the extra money will be spent on your other meals, your drinks, souvenirs and additional activities.
In general, breakfast is always included on most of our trips, as well as some meals. Please refer to each tour’s description for more details. Otherwise, you will have enough free time to eat whatever and wherever you want, and we will sometimes organize group dinners at our favorite spots!
Our selection of accommodations will assure you comfort and safety. Most of our accommodations are hotels, hostels and guesthouses. Please refer to each tour‘s description for more details.
We want each participant to have a positive travelling experience, so we will respect your choice to participate or not in the included activities. However, the cost of the trip can not be modified if you do not participate in one of the included activities.
Absolutely! We keep our itineraries balanced to have time for group activities that meet the needs and interests of all, as well as personnal free time to do whatever you want!
Most of our accommodations have free wifi. If it doesn’t work properly, we will assist you in finding public places to use it.
PLEASE REFER TO THE TRIP’S PAGE FOR UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION REGARDING BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICIES. THEY MIGHT DIFFER FROM THESE GENERAL CONDITIONS. If we have to cancel your trip because of a lack of participants or because of an unstable situation at destination, we will refund your trip completely. However, we are not responsible for your other expenses, such as your plane tickets, your insurance fees, your health-related fees, your travel equipment, etc. You will have to contact your travel insurance provider to get a refund for those expenses.
We understand that your travel plans could change, so please contact us as soon as possible if you have to modify or cancel your reservation with us. We keep the right to accept or decline a request of modification. Here is our refund policy:
In most cases, you can choose to pay either in 2 deposits of 50% of the total amount of the trip when booking, or pay the full price directly.
We recommend that you make your reservation at least 3 months before the beginning of the trip. This date is only indicative. It is better for you to respect this date to have time to plan the rest of your trip, such as buying plane tickets and getting the required visas and vaccinations.
As we have a maximum number of participants for each trip, it is recommended to reserve as early as possible to avoid losing your spot in the group.
You can book your trip online by filing out the Booking Form (if you wish to pay by cash, cheque or e-transfer) or with a valid credit or debit card by clicking ”Book” on the tour’s page. Then, follow the indications by filling the required fields for the online payment and there you go, your trip is booked! Otherwise, you can always contact us by phone and we will make the reservation together.
